Angela Michelle Still

Angela Michelle Walker Still, 52, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, in UNC Nash Hospital.  Mrs. Still was born on August 3, 1971, in Roanoke Rapids, the daughter of the late Angela Faye Powell and Steven Dwayne Walker.  She was also preceded in death by her sister Vicky Hyman.

Surviving include her husband Stephen Holt Still, her daughter Kaylyn Hockaday, her sister April Walker (Bryan), her niece Morgan Walker (Seth), her great nephew to be Whelen Pierce, and many other nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mrs. Still loved fishing, taking trips to the beach, her dogs, and cooking. She was famous for making her cornbread.  She served our community as an EMT for Gaston and Northampton Counties.  She was also a dispatcher for Halifax County.
