Alvin Frank Floyd

Alvin Frank Floyd, 80, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, in his home.   Mr. Floyd was born on June 2, 1943, in Northampton County, the son of the late Victoria Cook and Romie Floyd.  He was preceded in death by his wife Bertha Ann Floyd, his sister Ada Anderson, and his brother John Floyd.

Surviving include his daughter Julie Moore (Jason) of Gaston, his brother Charlie Floyd (Debbie) of Gaston, his sisters Alice Brown (Phillip) of Tarboro and Bernice Burnette of Raleigh, his sister-in-law Barbara Floyd of Fayetteville, and his grandchildren Kalyn Floyd and Jacob Moore.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 22, 2024, in Crestview Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Rick Ragan officiating.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service.   Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com.
