Alfred Acey “Drew” Andrew Carlisle, II, 23, of Halifax passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019 at his home.

Drew was born July 30, 1996 to Thomas Long Rainey, Jr. and Janie Carlisle Patterson. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas L. Rainey, Sr., JimPa and Dolly Liles; his aunt, Rose Vaughan.

Drew is survived by his mother, Janie Patterson and her husband Samuel of Halifax; his father, Thomas Rainey and his wife Linda of Fairview, NC; his maternal grandparents, Butch and Beverly Carlisle; his son, Drake Carlisle and Drake’s mother, Kaley Copeland; his brothers and sister, Jason Massie, Cheyenne Massie and Malik Cousins; his aunts and uncles, god-mother, Candi Carlisle and her boyfriend Guy Shaw, Andy Carlisle and fiancé Jennifer, John Ruffin and his wife Donna, Brian Ruffin and his wife Lynn, Chell Harris, Paul Carlisle and his girlfriend Julie, Mike Rainey and his wife Rebecca, Laurie Liles, Lou Bridgers, William Patterson and his wife Diana and Ann Brie; numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends Monday, November 11, 2019 from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service and other times at the home of his maternal grandparents, Butch and Beverly Carlisle.
