Alethia D. Martin 48 of Roanoke Rapids, NC, entered into eternal rest peacefully on August 1, 2026. She was born on October 26, 1977, went to Aurelian Springs, William R. Davie, and Northwest. 

Surviving include her husband Steve Golden, her sisters Latonya Decker, Leanne Martin, Tara Ross, her mother Loretta Harris, her brother-in-law Steve-O Decker, who she called Brother Dude. Her four children Johnathan, Kayla, Josh, Joshua and her six grandchildren. She also has a bunch of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and sister-in-law Kayleigh Johnston Harris.  Alethia is a wonderful mother, daughter, and sister. She was a loving caring person and a heart of gold. She loved playing video games on her laptop and her biggest thing was her fans and her roses.

In loving memory of a wonderful sister, she was a mother and Grandma and Aunt. Of all the special gifts in life however great or small, to have you as a sister was the greatest gift of all. May the winds of love blow softly and whisper in your ear “we all love and miss you down here.” Deep in our hearts, your life is kept to love and cherish not to forget. No more tomorrows we can share but yesterdays are always there. A silent thought a secret tear always keeps your memories near and in our hearts forever.
