Albert Roscoe Hargrove, Jr.

Albert Roscoe Hargrove, Jr.,  79, of Roanoke Rapids died Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Hargrove was born in Enfield on December 10, 1939, the son of Albert R. Hargrove, Sr. and Eva Wallace Hargrove, both of whom preceded him in death.  He was a retired textiles foreman.

Mr. Hargrove loved riding his Harley Davidson as well as his dune buggy. He enjoyed building and collecting scale models, especially trains.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Willis Hargrove; brother, Raymond Hargrove of Littleton; nieces, Julie Shook of Lake Charles, LA, Angela Monroe of Charlotte, Deborah Blackwell of Saxapahaw; great nieces, great nephews; as well as other extended family.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:30 pm Monday at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.  Pastor Chris Howerton will preside.

Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.
