Albert Ernest Ford

Albert Ernest Ford, 90 of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away peacefully at ECU Health- North on Thursday January 4, 2024.  Albert was born on November 22, 1933, in Rocky Mount, He was preceded in death by his parents George Ernest and Edna Sexton Ford, his brother Richard Wayne Ford and sister Doris Ford Collins.

Albert is survived by his wife of 57 years Erma Byrd Ford, his daughters Michele (Eddie) Wrenn of Roanoke Rapids and Teresa (Ralph) McConnell of Lancaster, SC. His grandchildren Jeremy Morton, David Morton and Katie McConnell, great grandchildren Lindsey, Ethan, Aiden and Carson, great-great grandchild Anderson.

Albert was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and retired from the City of Norfolk Virginia.

A funeral service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Monday January 8, 2024, at 1:00pm. Pastors Andy Sloan and Randy Martin will conduct the service. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00am to 12:30pm. Interment will be at Cedarwood cemetery immediately after the service.
