Acey Green Turner

Acey Green Turner, 85, died Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Magnolia Gardens in Warrenton.

Mr. Turner was born May 11, 1929 in Northampton County to the late Morris and Betty Poythress Turner. Mr. Turner was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Prestley and Dick Turner. Mr. Turner is survived by his daughter, Sheryl Dickens and husband Tommie of Gaston; his granddaughter, Brandy Robertson; and great-grandchildren, Taylor Dickens, Matthew Arwood, and Cambry Robertson. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Monday, July 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Crestview Memorial Cemetery with Rev. D.A. Leonard officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
